On May 17-18, 2011, the ISTANBUL REstate 2011, which has become a traditional event accepted by the entire sector, was held for the third time together with the 11th Real Estate Summit and ISTANBUL REstate Real Estate Fair at the Lütfi Kirdar Congress and Exhibition Center in Istanbul. The 11th Real Estate Summit once again brought together senior executives of leading real estate companies from Turkey and around the world, as well as the most expert individuals in their fields. At the summit, where the Turkish and world economies were evaluated, the real estate sectors of developing countries, Turkey's position and forecasts were discussed. New trends in the real estate sector, countries that have emerged after the global crisis, and sociological perspectives on the real estate sector in Turkey were also debated. Moreover, in the panels held during the ISTANBUL REstate Real Estate Fair on May 17-18, topics relevant to all sub-segments of the sector, such as Commercial Real Estate Investments, Facility Management, Urban Transformation and Renewal, Tourism Investments, Valuation and Consultancy, and Housing Investments, were discussed. ISTANBUL REstate 2011 hosted around 1,300 corporate visitors and focused on the EMEA region, which includes Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, and CIS countries, covering all areas of the real estate sector.
